I am currently a senior at Dickinson College where I am pursuing a double major in French and Environmental Science. I have always had a passion for environmental work stemming from my involvement in various volunteer positions and employment at the wildlife sanctuary in my hometown of Belmont, Massachusetts. Upon arriving at Dickinson, I enrolled in the introductory environmental science courses and was captivated by the subject matter. My commitment to studying the environment enabled me to spend my junior year studying sustainable development in Toulouse, France, and both terrestrial and marine ecology in Brisbane, Australia.

Outside of the classroom, I am a student leader in the Outing Club, a global ambassador, a first-year mentor, a monitor at the rock wall, and member of the club ice hockey team. For the past few summers, I have worked with the Massachusetts Audubon Society as an environmental educator, drawing from my studies at Dickinson by creating ecology-based curriculum for the summer camp.  I am looking forward to pursuing a career in environmental research, environmental education and outdoor and wilderness experiences.
